About Me

My photo
Mangal
I am from ASSAM, the seven sister’s state of North-East INDIA. I belong to “KARBI” tribe, the aboriginal hills tribe of ASSAM. Ethnically we belong to the Indo-Mongoloid race and linguistically to the Tibeto-Burman family of languages. It is believed that, the mongoloid people were migrated from CHINA via Myanmar to this part of the earth. I am working in the state Rural Development Department. We are working Community Development Program for up-liftment and empowerment of the rural poor. Presently, we are working on Self-employment program called “SWARNJAYANTI GRAM SWAROZGAR YOJANA”(SGSY) to organize the rural poor into “SELF-HELP GROUP”s to enable them to set up sustainable self-employment.
